Dear TOLPIT User.
TOLPIT is always developed, fast, secure, and streamlined, thanks to our client’s constant requests for new features. If the interest is, on easier management of the Insurance cases or a much easier way to offer vouchers, be it Credit, Gift, or Campaign vouchers, then kindly pay attention to the below guidelines.
New features in TOLPIT:
●Easy way to offer vouchers, being it Credit, Gift, or Campaign vouchers:
You need to add an account in Admin -> Accounts -> Description =Voucher -> Type = Liability -> Special = Voucher-> # = 100.
In Sales -> click [Gift voucher] -> select Voucher -> TAB -> TAB -> enter the amount and press ENTER.
Add other items if needed -> Pay -> Pay.
The voucher can be redeemed by any customer. Scanning the barcode on a new Sales ID, the voucher will be redeemed upon clicking [Pay] -> [Pay].
The voucher can only be used once.
Only 1 Gift voucher may be sold per Sales ID.
A Gift voucher can usually not be credited, but if the customer insists, it can be used on a new Sales ID, with another low-cost item, and the balance paid back in Cash.
Credit Voucher
When crediting 1 or more items of a previous sale, you can give the customer a voucher instead of paying back cash.
You need to add an account in Admin -> Accounts -> Description = Voucher-> Type = Liability -> Special = Voucher -> # = 100.
In Sales -> [Pay] -> enter the amount in Voucher and print the voucher by clicking the [Print] icon next to the voucher amount.
Also, please go to [Setup] -> [Items] -> ID = 99 -> Description = Not sale -> Type =Not sale
The voucher can be redeemed by any customer, and by scanning the barcode on a new Sales, the voucher will be redeemed upon clicking [Pay] -> [Pay].
The voucher can only be used once.
●Easy management of the Insurance cases.
You need to add an account in Admin -> Accounts -> Description =Insurance Fee-> Type = Liability-> Special = Insurance Fee-> # = 50.
You need to add an account in Admin -> Accounts -> Description =Ins QLM (Example can be any company-> Type = Assest-> Special = Insurance-> # = 30.
In Sales -> Balance > type user ID, in description field > drop-down> Choose Ins QLM > Enter amount approved by Ins. > [Pay]
In Sales -> Balance > type user ID, in description field > drop-down> Choose Insurance Fee > Enter amount charged by Ins. > [Pay]
A report showing details on all insurance transactions can be found under Reports > Generator. (Kindly request generation of this and it can be customized upon request.
TOLPIT 2024 Design.
This project has been delayed, but we expect it to be done during the 4th quarter of 2024. A little peek into this new design is possible during login, choose “Theme” New. A different experience will open up.
Lastly, features like “Bad-dept”, WhatsApp and more strong accounts features make TOLPIT even more needed in the Day-to-Day optical business.
A personal note: With clients in many countries and the world going like it is, let’s hope we all will come through 2024, I daily communicate with clients in War Zones, Hunger Zones, and Weather disaster Zones, let’s all pray that we will reach 2025 safe.
